| "Medusa" is the heart of me. She is a concept of inner female power such as the serpent was in ancient times. The gorgon purveyed wisdom and transformation. A woman's hair was considered to be her power, and since the serpent was a symbol of both, she represents these profound qualities. She shook men to their foundations, since they were not prepared to see her as the pilot of the jet they boarded. |
